Arthur Hancock, 1945-2015

Arthur was a singer/songwriter, philosopher, writer, and cartoonist.

This was Arthur's welcome to his site:

As Leonard Cohen says, "I have tried, in my way, to be free."

If you're looking for a kick-ass theory for why the universe exists, what's the purpose of life, and why so much of human existence is devoid of love and satisfaction, you've definitely come to the right place.

This site is for open-minded adults who are seeking a deeper understanding of what's wrong with the human race.

If you'd like to hear my songs, visit my YouTube channel, Songs in the Key of Consciousness

John Denver recorded a song of mine entitled "Relatively Speaking," which was released on his album "Seasons of the Heart."

I've published a memoir, Exposing Myself: A Life of Sex and Truth.

My first book, The Game of God: Recovering Your True Identity, written with my wife and soul-mate Kathleen Brugger, was praised by Oprah as being "a great book about God." We've  completed a significantly revised edition which is now available on Kindle, all other ebook formats, and paperback. Read the introduction, complete with cartoons, here!

Kathleen and I have developed a theory of universal human insanity. She has published a book based on our work entitled We Are ALL Innocent by Reason of Insanity: The Mechanics of Compassion. I've written a musical with the same title.
